Ahmet Hadrović was born on May 1, 1957 in Hadra, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo (1980), specialized and received his master's degree from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade (1985, 1986). He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo (1988). Since 1982, he has been working at the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo, where he holds all titles, from assistant to full professor (2000).
In several mandates, he served as the head of the „Department of Architectural Structures and Construction Technology“. He served as vice dean for science at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sarajevo (2015-2019). He was the head of the Doctoral course at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Sarajevo (2007- 2012). In two mandates (2005-2007 and 2007-2011) he was the dean of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Sarajevo.
Ahmet Hadrović has published so far: 4 books (in English) in the USA; 49 books (textbooks, scientific books, monographs), of which 10 in English, in Bosnia and Herzegovina; 48 papers in international indexed journals (in English); 19 papers in proceedings accompanying international scientific conferences and symposia; 3 papers in Bosnian scientific journals; 10 papers in proceedings accompanying domestic scientific conferences and symposia; 4 expertises commissioned by the state; More international projects; More reviews of books by other authors; He is the author of over 350 architectural projects, of which over 250 have been realized.
